Motorcycle trailers
Motorcycle trailers can be classified in two ways: where the motorcycle
is placed in a trailer and where a trailer is pulled behind a motorcycle.
For those trailers pulled behind motorcycles, many owners prefer open
trailers for their lightweight design and relatively inexpensive cost.
An important feature on most motorcycle trailers meant for carrying
motorcycles is the rear access door that allows the motorcycle to be
easily positioned on the trailer. When purchasing a trailer with a ramp
door, be sure there is a spring-assisted feature since some ramps can
be very heavy.
Since motorcycle trailers tend to be lighter than many other trailers,
they are hauled easily by most trucks, SUVs, and cars. It is still recommended
to check the owner’s guide of your vehicle to make sure it is
compatible with hauling any type of trailer.
